SUTTONSCAPES was recently invited to be a garden exhibitor (invitation only) at the Capital District Garden & Flower Show held in March, 2011 at Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, NY. We were one of only 11 landscape designers chosen. These landscapers totally transformed the hockey rink into a remarkable new world of gardens, trees, ponds, fountains, and private vignettes of flowers, greenery and privacy.
We were assisted by VERDANT LANDSCAPES located in Pleasant Valley, New York. Verdant Landscapes is a design firm that specializes in the New American Garden -- sweeps of native and introduced plants that make a strong architectural statement while relating to specific house styles, sites, and regional motifs. We are dedicated to using plant material that thrive in our area and is resistant to browsing by animal populations.
